Ready-Mix Concrete
Plain concrete is a crucial building material made from cement, sand, and aggregate. This mix creates a strong, durable substance used in various construction projects, from pavements to foundations. Plain concrete is valued for its versatility, affordability, and ability to be moulded, making it essential for builders and contractors across Australia.
Strength of Concrete
Measured in megapascals (MPa). Common Residential strengths are 20 MPa and 25 MPa. Used for slabs, paths and driveways. Commercial strength require 32MPa. Used for Heavy-duty driveways and commercial slabs. These grades reflect the concrete's ability to endure pressure and load. Reaching its rated MPa after 28 days of curing. The right strength impacts performance, cost-effectiveness, and suitability for applications.
Reinforced Concrete
Combing steel reinforcement with concrete slabs creates strong, durable structures. Steel rebar and welded steel mesh are wired together in the formwork before pouring concrete. Galvanized dowels are chemically set into existing concrete, providing connections for expansion and contraction. Some steel placements require inspection by your local council or engineer before pouring begins.
Plain concrete
Plain concrete is exactly that—simple and straightforward. It contains no additives or decorative elements, making it the perfect choice for a variety of applications. Exposed Aggregate
A decorative finish attained through pouring plain concrete and subsequently washing away the top layer of cement. Exposed Aggregate is available in a diverse selection of stone & pebble type and base colours, ensuring a perfect match for your home or business. This finish is commonly utilized for driveways, pool surrounds, patios, and pathways.
Colour Through Mix
Our coloured concrete solutions, achieved by mixing oxide pigments directly into the ready-mixed truck at the plant. This method ensures even colour distribution, resulting in a consistent, long-lasting appearance. Ideal for driveways, paths, pool surrounds, and entertainment areas. Offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal. After laying the concrete, a coloured sealer is applied to enhance its beauty and protect against wear. Colour charts are available to help you select the perfect shade for your space.
Concrete surface
Steel trowel. machine trowel or a hand trowel, deliver a smooth, hard-wearing surface ideal for interior spaces alike. ensures a clean, modern aesthetic that enhances the overall look of your interiors.
Cove trowel. This finish helps create a textured, nonslip finish, essential for safety in exterior spaces. Leaves half circular fan or shell pattern.
Broom finish. using a bristled broom to leave fine parallel ridges that enhance traction. This finish is particularly beneficial where slip resistance is a priority.
Stencil and Spray
A decorative method to transform ordinary concrete into stunning designs that mimic pavers, stone, brick, or tiles. The stencil is embedded in the concrete, apply a concrete spray colour over the stencil, that when removed reveals grout lines detailing the pattern.
